About Greg Williams I started Alphawebfx.com back in 2004. It originally was a website just telling people about the website optimization services that I offered. But my real passion was helping small businesses with the little information they needed to get started. So I re-wrote the site to give my audience a little more help by writing step by step tips on how to succeed in the B2C internet world. My background I have been building and maintaining websites for around 10 years now. A majority of my websites have been retail (real estate, automotive, mortgage, home) websites along with quite a few non-profit websites, however they have all been B2C websites. A few years ago when all the search engines started popping up, I started to become interested in search engine optimization. There were many changes during that time and I found out that you had to keep up with the information if you were going to go anywhere with the search engines and search engine results. In the years that I have kept up with the search engines there have been many tricks, black hat SEO’s have tried and succeeded with, however the search engines finally figured out what those tricks were and either blacklisted or de-ranked their websites. The one thing that has held true is that a website that is well written for the search engines without any tricks always out performs in the long run. I have had great success optimizing sites for the search engines, but I don’t try to get my site the highest out there. Why?, you may ask. The answer is simple. I like to teach this information, and I only work from referrals. So if you are reading this, it was probably because someone referred you to it. I have taught classes, I have taught business owners, and have been interviewed by a magazine, but what I enjoy the most is people saying, “Hey Greg, I just got my first deal from the website because of a search someone did!” Enjoy the information on the website and remember that if you are overwhelmed with the information on the website and don’t know where to begin or if you just don’t have the time to do it yourself, go to my consulting services page and check out my prices. I price my services more inexpensively that the larger SEO companies because I strongly believe that you get a lot of stuff you don’t need from the other guys. They can promise hundreds of leads to you, but if 95% of them are garbage what is the point in wasting money. Greg Williams
